Yes, thank you for asking. The boys from BookTour will be at Book Expo America this coming week. We'll be meeting users, partners and friends as well as talking, just a little, about our upcoming plans for the All New BookTour!
Our schedule, roughly speaking, is as follows...
Monday, May 24th:
- We'll be knocking around BEA's new DIY Authors Conference, discussing new industry zigs and zags for aspiring, self-published and entrepreneurial authors. These folks get a lot of milage out of BookTour since it's a free tool that doesn't descriminate between bestselling or up and coming books.
- That evening we'll be at the Independent Book Publisher's Association annual gathering and award show.
Tuesday, May 25th:
We're taking meetings on the main conference floor most of the day but plan to break for these can't miss events.
- 7X20X21. One of the coolest things our industry does.
Wednesday, May 26th:
I think we have enough meetings on this conference day to bottleneck the UN. If you see us on the conference floor, say hello and give us a hug. We will need it.
Wednesday night however, we plan on attending The BEA Tweetup. As should you. We went last year and it split our world open. No foolin.
Thursday, May 27th:
Slightly fewer meetings. If you've like to sit down with us, this would be the best day. So far.
That night however, we're calling the Can't Miss Event the Goodreads Literary Pub Crawl. We don't drink and we're planning on being sloshed on good cheer and bookish comradeship.
Bottom Line:
